Superstar Mahesh Babu launched Akhil theatrical trailer and gave a speech at Akhil Audio Launch, praising Akhil for his screen presence. Mahesh Babu was the chief guest for Akhil audio launch function.

Audio of Akhil: The Power Of Jua movie starring Akhil Akkineni and Sayesha Saigal was launched on birth anniversary of Akkineni Nageswara Rao by Mahesh. Directed by VV Vinayak Akhil is the debut movie of Akhil Akkineni, son of Nagarjuna, and also stars Sayesha Saigal, Amyra Dastur, Rajendra Prasad Brahmanandam, and Mahesh Manjrekar. Music is composed by S Thaman and Anup Rubens. Produced by Actor Nithin under Sresht Movies banner.
